Air Bleed Ducting Upgrade
Laser Gulf was contracted to carry out a scanning / dimensional survey for air bleed ducting on one of the main generators for the Central Azeri production platform. The survey was to confirm that the latest design would be clash free and spool and support steel work would fit first time to minimise generator shutdown. All spool work was closely monitored during the fabrication process prior to being shipped offshore.
Deliverables included:
- Survey report.
- Annotated ducting and steelwork drawings.
The work was completed without incident, within schedule and fitted first time without modification.
