BOP Control Unit Upgrades
Laser Gulf was requested to design a temporary fix for the BOP Control Unit hydraulic pipe work on Shah Deniz Alpha. All design work carried out in accordance with client specifications, standards, work methods and practices without exception.
Deliverables included:
- 3D-Scanning BOP Control Unit.
- 3D Conceptual design for client review and approval.
- Bulk material take-off.
- Piping GA’s.
- Fabrication isometrics.
- Destruct isometrics.
- P&ID’s for all modifications to the system.
- Pipe support design.
- TP schedule.
The project was delivered to the satisfaction of the client and all work was completed without incident, within schedule and without any hot work being required.
